沿革 規約 展覧会ポリシー

1936 協会創立
猪熊、伊勢、中西、内田(巌)、小磯、佐藤、三田の7名は、「反アカデミック芸術精神に於て官展に関与せず、我々は独自の芸術的行動の自覚に於て我々の背馳すると認めたる一切の美術展に関与せず」という主張をかかげて新制作派協会の結成を声明した。その後、旅行中の脇田、鈴木(誠)が帰京して加盟した。
第1回は上野竹の台(美術協会)で開催した。

1939 彫刻部
本郷、山内(壯夫)、吉田(芳夫)、舟越、佐藤(忠良)、柳原、明田川の7名によって彫刻部が設けられた。

1944
上野公園が太平洋戦争のため、高射砲陣地となり第9回展は日本橋三越で開催した。

1949
池辺、岡田、前川、丹下、吉村、山口、谷口の7名によって建築部が設けられた。

1951
堀、奥村、吉岡、高橋、向井、上村、山本、福田、秋野、沢、菊地、広田が会に合流、日本画部が設けられた。新制作協会と改称した。

1969 スペースデザイン部
建築部をスペースデザイン部と改めた。

1974 絵画部
日本画部会員退会のため日本画部を解消。従来の油絵を絵画部と改め、あらゆる絵画を含むものとした。

1976
創立40周年を迎え、記念出版として会員によるデッサン集「新制作四十年」を刊行した。

1986
創立50周年を迎え、記念出版として「新制作協会50年史」を刊行した。

1998
創立会員 脇田 和 卒寿記念祝賀会開催

2002
創立会員 佐藤 忠良 卒寿記念祝賀会開催

2006
創立70周年を迎え、70回記念図録を刊行し、70回記念賞を設けた。

2007
第71回展より国立新美術館(六本木)での開催となる。

2011
創立75周年を迎え、選抜による3部合同展示を行った。

2016
創立80周年を迎え、選抜による3部合同展示を行い、80回記念賞を設けた。

2023
7月31日現在、会員数217名(絵画部103名、彫刻部75名、SD部39名)。
毎年の新制作展で新作家賞を受賞した作家は直ちに協友に推挙される。

 

1936 Foundation of the Society
Seven young artists-G.Inokuma, M.Ise, T.Nakanishi, I.Uchida, R.Koiso, K.Sato, Y.Santa-announced with pride the foundind of a new art society called Shinseisaku. They declared they would not participate in any official exhibition in order to hold on their anti-academic positions and that they would never take part in any art exhibition whose philosophy on art was different from theirs so to preserve their originality. Two other members. K.Wakita and M.Suzuki,joined the society immediately on coming from their trip. The first exhibition was held at Takeshinodai,Ueno.

1939 The sculpture section
Seven sculptors set up the sculpture section. Among them were S.Hongo, T.Ymanouchi, Y.Yoshida, Y.Funakoshi, C.Sato, Y.Yanafihara, and T.Aketagawa.

1944
The ninth exhibition was held at Mitsukoshi in Nihonbashi,Tokyo. During World War II. Ueno Park was turned into an anti-aircraft emplacement.

1949
The architecture section was founded by seven archtects. The members were Y.Ikebe, T.Okada, K.Maekawa, K.Tange, J.Yoshimura, B.Yamaguchi and Y.Taniguchi.

1951
F.Hori, K.Okumura, K.Yoshioka, S.Takahashi, H.Mukai, S.Uemura, K.Yamamoto, T.Fukuda, F.Akino, H.Sawa, T.Kikuchi and T.Hirota joinded the society, setting up the Japanese style painting section. Shinseisaku Art Society was renamed Shinseisaku.

1969 The Space Design section
The architecture section changed its name to the Space-Design section.

1974 The painting section
The Japanese-style painting section was dissolved as a result of their withdrawal from membership. The former oil-painting section was newly named the painting section, which was supposed to include all sorts of paintings.

1976
To commemorate the society’s 40th Anniversary, we published a collection of drawings produced by members under the title of“40 Years of Shinseisaku”.

1986
To celebrate the society’s 50th Anniversary, a book titled “50 Years of Shinseisaku”issued.

1998
A member of the foundation Kazu Wakita’s 90th birthday celebration.

1998
A member of the foundation Churyo Sato’s 90th birthday celebration.

2006
To commemorate the society’s 70th Anniversary, the 70th Anniversary’s Illustrated Book was published and the 70th Anniversary Award was created.

2007
The 71st exhibition was held at the National Art Center. Tokyo.

2011
To commemorate the society’s 75th Anniversary, was a collaborative exhibition by selection of three sections.

2016
To commemorate the society’s 80th Anniversary, a collaborative exhibition by selection of three sections was held and the 80th Anniversary Award was created.

2023
The membership of society numbers 217 as of July. 31. 2023 (103 in the painting section, 75 in the sculpture section, 39 in the space design section. ) Every artist who is awarded a prize at the annual exhibition of Shinseisaku is to be recommened as an associate member of our society.
